Join me in supporting real change. Let’s support good in the world and make a difference. YOU can provide local homeless families with support, hope, and comfort when they have nowhere else to go.

I've been involved with Haven House for many years helping them raise funds for homeless families. After successfully selling three volumes of their cookbooks, I was invited to participate, as a celebrity, in Haven House's second annual pancake breakfast fundraiser. On the day I agreed to do it I was leaving Haven House and met a Mom with a small child and a six day old baby. That really touched my heart and spurred my efforts to try do my best to help homeless families. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all those who donated funds in my name in the past. I have been the People's Choice award winner for the past four years, and hope to do so for the fifth time this year!

As a Sister of Charity for the past 61 years I have devoted my life to teaching and pastoral care, but in my spare time I've always been involved in helping those in need.

I think I got my inspiration to help others during my years in grade and high school, when we raised money for missionaries in foreign lands by selling magazines, candy bars and making goodies for bake sales. For 30+ years I would don my Santa suit and join the Knights of Columbus in distributing Christmas gifts to handicapped children and families in need.

After becoming a professional clown in 1990, I've been involved in many fund raising activities like selling red noses at the Lansing Mall for the SIDS foundation, participating in PBS telethons, and Jerry Lewis telethons for MDA. For the last four years I've dressed as an Elf before Christmas and go around to area restaurants with the St. Martha Knights of Harmony. They sing while I collect money to aid area food banks.

I'm asking all of you again to really dig deep to especially support the great work being done by Haven House to help homeless families in our area, and of course, to help me try to dethrone Mark as Haven House's Pancake Palooza Champion.

Thanking you in advance,

Sister Pat
