Help me beat Mark!
I've been involved with Haven House for many years helping them raise funds for homeless families. In 2016 after successfully selling three volumes of their MSU Tailgate Cookbooks, I was invited to participate, as a celebrity Star Server in the annual Pancake Palooza. On the day I agreed to do it I was leaving Haven House and met a mom with a small child and a six- day old baby. That really touched my heart and spurred my efforts to try do my best to help homeless families.
At Haven House, families get emergency shelter and a whole lot more: help finding a permanent home, and follow-up to help families identify and achieve long-term goals. Will you join me in helping homeless families at Haven House? Click above to make your donation.
You can also reserve your tickets to see me in action on Saturday, February 3rd from 8-10 am at Applebee's in East Lansing. Your ticket includes all-you-can-eat pancakes and tons of fun to benefit Haven House. Last year I took a pie in the face for a $100 donation and I'm willing to do it again.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all those who donated funds in my name for the past couple of years. Mark McDaniel has been the champion fund raiser for the past 3 years. Now we need to change that this year. I'm asking all of you again to really dig deep to especially support the great work being done to help homeless families in our area, and of course, to help me try to dethrone Mark as the Haven House Pancake Champion!
