The tree house that my Dad built for us nearly 40 years ago was a refuge from the everyday stresses that plague a 10 year old boy growing up in middle class suburbia.
It became the Dragon's Lair, home to the scrappiest bunch of preteens this side of the country club. A meeting place to relax, refresh and regroup in preparation for life's opportunities and challenges.
Many kids are currently facing challenges that would have been inconceivable to the Dragons and Haven House provides a place for their families to relax, refresh and regroup in preparation for life's opportunities and challenges.
